This course emphasizes planning and executing Rural Operations activities and the associated factors, which must be considered in order to be safe and successful.
Prerequisites: 
None.
Who Should Attend: 
This course is intended for those who work in rural environments as well as Marijuana associated investigations. It is also intended for Tactical Team members utilized to secure grow sites, initiate the apprehension of fugitives and illegal marijuana growers, as well as Investigators who may be involved in the investigation of Officer Involved Shootings or who may work in a rural environment.

* Land Navigation

* Helicopter safety and Ground Convoy procedures                                  

* Introduction to Patrolling

* Individual and Team Tactical Movement                                              

* Crime Scene occupation

* Tactical Combat Casualty Care                                                           

* Fixed point surveillance

* Marijuana Investigation Techniques

Cost: 
This is a tuition free course for Local Officers/Agents only - For State LE Officers/Agents, and Federal Officers/Agents there is a tuition charge of $234.00 payable at the door. Payments must be by check/money order made to POST.
More Information: 
This Course will be presented three times a year at Fort Hunter-Liggett, in Monterey County. Training dates are subject to change due to military training commitments.
