Visiting Scholar’s Lab

The Visiting Scholars Lab provides external researchers with the opportunity to work with our team already embedded at the California Department of Justice (DOJ) on a limited time basis. Visiting Scholars learn about the various data systems used in the department and work alongside the department staff, which provides great value to the department. As a volunteer, the visiting scholar will be on-site with the Research Center team pursuing priority research projects. With department affiliation, they will find various opportunities to network within the department and expand their expertise.
