Special Investigations Team (SIT) Program

This program will consist of the SIT units, eCrimes teams, and the Mortgage Fraud Strike Force teams. Personnel will work in support of the Attorney General’s Criminal Law Division, Public Rights Division and Civil Law Division. The Special Investigations Team will conduct complex investigations involving the allegations of civil rights violations, eCrimes, public corruption, underground economy, environmental contamination, federal and state habeas litigation involving capital and non capital cases, homicides, consumer fraud, money laundering, mortgage fraud, conflict of interest, bribery, tax evasion, race discrimination, death in custody evaluations, misappropriation of public funds, and suspected criminal activity involving elected public officials.
