Attorney General Becerra Secures a Key Legal Victory in USA v. CA

SACRAMENTO – California Attorney General Xavier Becerra issued the following statement regarding today’s ruling by U.S. District Judge Mendez in the United States of America v. State of California:

"Today the federal court issued a strong ruling against the federal government’s overreach in USA v. CA. The Constitution gives the people of California, not the Trump Administration, the power to decide how we will provide for our public safety and general welfare. California’s laws work in concert—not conflict—with federal law."
