Disability Rights Advisory Committee (DRAC) Co-Chairpersons, Erin Isberg and Joel Tochterman, welcome members of the public, conduct a roll call, establish a quorum, and allow time for members of the public to introduce themselves.

- Approval of DRAC Meeting Minutes and Review of Action Items
DRAC Co-Chairpersons Isberg and Tochterman lead DRAC in approving the minutes from the March 18, 2026, meeting and reviewing any action items.
- Updates
DRAC Co-Chairpersons Isberg and Tochterman introduce and lead DRAC on topic and/or project updates.
- Update on the July 2026 Disability Pride Month event with the California Department of Developmental Services: Autism Resource Hub.
- DRAC Co-Chairpersons Isberg and Tochterman will draft the All DOJ announcement for the month of July and enlist a DRAC member to draft a brief announcement for the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging monthly newsletter and submit it to the DRAC Co-Chairpersons by April 27, 2026
- DRAC Co-Chairperson Tochterman will report on the State Disability Advisory Committee meeting held March 19, 2026.
- New Business
DRAC Co-Chairpersons Isberg and Tochterman introduce new business topics submitted by the DRAC members and DRAC Liaison for discussion and public comment.
- California Department of Human Resources’ Change in Disability Status Survey release to all DOJ employees and DRAC’s recruitment message on the Intranet’s Carousel - Submitted by DRAC Liaison Peter Villarreal.
- Discuss ideas for an October 2026 event, that is in addition to the July 2026 Lunchtime Micro-Learning Series event with the California Department of Developmental Services.
- Adjourn (1:00 p.m.)
DRAC Co-Chairpersons Isberg and Tochterman adjourn the meeting.

* Meeting Agenda and Materials
The meeting agenda is available on the California Department of Justice’s (DOJ) website. Supplemental meeting materials are available for public viewing and can be requested in alternate format through the contact person listed below. All times indicated and the order of business are approximate and subject to change. DRAC’s meeting will be conducted in accordance with the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act, as specified in California Government Code sections 11120-11132.
American Sign Language interpreting and closed captioning will be provided. DOJ is not responsible for unforeseen technical difficulties and not obligated to postpone the meeting. Contact the DRAC Liaison listed below should additional accommodation be needed to participate in this meeting.
** Public Comment
Public comment on topics not on the agenda will be taken at the beginning of the meeting. DRAC will take public comment relating to a specific agenda topic and/or project at the end of the applicable item. Each member of the public is allotted up to three minutes to make their comment and may not transfer their time to another speaker. Non-English speakers using translators will have a maximum of five minutes for their comment, unless they use simultaneous translation equipment, in which case, the three-minute limit applies. Written comment may also be emailed to the DRAC Liaison listed below.
